We’re committed to supporting our suppliers in the transition to Net Zero
Our why
We need your help to achieve our Net Zero goals!
Our suppliers generally make up around 90% of our overall carbon emissions. We can't reduce our scope 3 emissions without working together.
We know you need our help to get started, so you can account for your emissions and set your own credible targets for reduction.
That's why we're committed to providing access to education, tools and support to bring everyone along on this journey.
Our goals
Net-zero
We plan to reduce our emissions to net-zero by 2040 through deep engagement with our suppliers
Suppliers
We aim for 80% of our suppliers to be carbon accounting by 2024 and 50% with SBTi Net Zero targets by 2025
Renewable Energy
We aim to use 100% renewable energy
by 2025 across our operations
We need you to join
us on this journey.
Why we need to work together
Scope 3 emissions include those that come from our supply chain, they contribute to our overall carbon footprint. We're on a mission to reduce this, but we need to work with our entire value chain to gather high quality data in order to do so.
You're better than average
If we can't work together to access better data, we have to rely on industry averages to estimate your emissions. Our reports may have an estimation against your company that is wildly inaccurate, especially if you're already taking steps to reduce emissions. We want to do better than this so we can track our collective progress.
A better way forward
We all want to understand the emissions of those we buy from and invest in. We know you want that to. As we both strive to reduce emissions, we all want to see this reflected in our accounting and reporting. It's what we use to make informed decisions and to keep ourselves accountable. This is new for many of us, so let's start off on the right foot, leading with education.
